General Support
We need your help to get computers, head sets, fuel, Aeronautical charts,
software, transportation, Internet access and so mush more, simple but important
things to fulfill the promises to our kids.

Be a Sponsor
As a Sponsor you will receive information and reports on the school and students
that your dollars are supporting.  Also you will be placed on our list of annual
sponsors.  In addition corporate sponsors will be included in our press releases
and school correspondence.

Sponsor Books and Materials
$500 gift will support a student by providing text books and ground school
materials for the Private Pilot certification.

Sponsor Field Trips
$1,500 will fund an elementary or middle school class field trip to an airport, an
air and space museum; class t-shirts, and Logbook journals to document their
growth and development.

Sponsor a Class
$3000 gift will support an elementary class for one semester at one of our
partner schools in the heart of the inner-city. See

programming.

Solo a Pilot Sponsor
$3000 will provide a scholarship to take a deserving advanced student to his or
her pilot in command first solo in an airplane. This is a very important step for
those students pursuing a Private Pilot certification.

Sponsor A Fledgling Pilot
A gift of $5500 will provide a scholarship to a deserving advanced student to
complete his or her Private Pilot certification.

Airplane Fund
This fund supports our ongoing goal of owning and maintaining our own
aircraft/trainers. With owning our own planes we not only increase our assets
which helps to sustain the academy, but we also have a new revenue stream by
being able to give sight seeing/fall colors tours and rentals to the many private
pilots in our area. Donation levels start at $500

The Una Johnson Scholarship Fund
Is dedicated to the memory of our founder Patrick Johnson’s beloved mother,
Una Johnson. The candidates for this unique scholarship must demonstrate a
financial need, excellence in their academic endeavors, and the desire to pursue
a professional career in aviation.  These scholarships are reserved for advanced
level students pursuing a Commercial Pilot Certificate. Donation levels start at
$500.
















West Michigan Flight Academy Endowment
As a nonprofit organization we understand that our expenses would eventually
extend beyond the income from our fundraising efforts. Being proactive the
WMFA board is in the process of developing an endowment fund to produce
income to offset this potential short fall. All endowment contributions are invested.
The funds are accessed annually to assist with meeting operational expenses.
$1,000.00 minimum donation.
Private Pilot
$100 In addition to basic membership benefits, you receive special mailings that keep
you up-to-date on new projects and ideas to-date on new projects and ideas.

Instrument Pilot
$250 You will be invited to a special meeting with the Founder and CEO each year in
addition to the other benefits.

Commercial Pilot
$500 You will be invited to two special meetings with the Founder and CEO each year
in addition to the other benefits. These meetings serve as a great opportunity to meet
the Founder and CEO to talk about the future of WMFA.

Corporate Pilot
$1,000 Corporate Pilots receive all Commercial Pilot’s benefits, plus an invitation to a
board luncheon each year.

Airline Pilot
$2,500 Airline Pilot  receive all of the benefits of Corporate Pilot's benefit listed above.

Test Pilot
$5,000 Includes all Airline Pilot’s privileges, plus an invitation to the annual Dinner
Celebration.

$10,000 Includes all Airline Pilot’s privileges, plus an invitation to the annual Dinner

Shuttle Commander
$25,000 Shuttle Commander receive all of the benefits of donors listed above.

Mission to Mars Specialist
$50,000 Mission to Mars Specialist receive all of the benefits listed above, plus
invitations to private receptions.

Voyager Founder
$100,000 privileges includes all benefits, plus invitations to private receptions and
special events.
