As the world gets more competitive the concern that students in the United
States are not prepared in the areas of Math and Science grows larger. The
fact is the majority of high school students in our inner-city schools never
achieve the necessary proficiency/grades in math and science to transition into
colleges and jobs that are highly advanced and technical. WMFA is dedicated
to changing this trend through our programs which encourage and motivate
students to pursue a highly advanced technical career opportunity related to
the Aviation and Aerospace industries.
WMFA Programs offer entry-level and advanced exposure to aviation and
aerospace industries to inner city youths. Students learn vital life skills: self-
discipline, perseverance, commitment, cooperation, professionalism and the
satisfaction that results from working to achieve one’s goals. WMFA is
launching point for Airline Pilots, Corporate Pilots, Air traffic Controllers,
Aeronautical Engineers, Aviation Safety Inspectors, Electronics Technicians,
Airport Administrators, Computer Specialists, Meteorologist and Aircraft
Maintenance Technicians.
